The sub judice rule of “Ballena Blanca” has been extended by the judge of Court Number 5 in Marbella. The objective of this extension is so as to continue with inconclusive investigations on the police proceedings against money-laundering for which up to now, they have detained 50 people.
During the operation, 18 searches have been carried out in various homes and offices and 251 new properties on the Costa Del Sol have been affected, many of which are extremely luxurious homes, as well as two whole developments located in the Linense municipality, more specifically Regencia Alcaidesa-Playa y La Villa.
Out of the 50 people arrested in this spectacular operation against money-laundering, twelve people remain in jail. However, it cannot be ruled out that there may be more arrests in the coming months.
