Torre Bermeja, a fabulous beachside development in the heart of the new Golden Mile, between San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona, is considered to be the best development on the coast.
This is the opinion of the panel of judges in the 2005 edition of Homes Overseas Award so much so that they presented the Gold Award to the development, which is being built by Grupo VTP. The panel in charge of awarding these prizes comprises mainly of architects, British appraisers and journalists specialising in the property sector. According to some of the opinions of these judges, this development offers unbeatable views over Roman remains, a Moorish environment and protected land down to the beach. The apartments are of excellent quality especially with regard to the materials used in their construction. Another aspect that stands out in their design is the high level of privacy pertaining to each individual apartment.
In the 2005 edition of Homes Overseas Award, the majority of the developers/developments that were awarded a prize came from the Costa del Sol, as is the case of Alanda Flamingos, a development granted with the Silver Award under the same category mentioned above. Alanda Flamingos is a complex located in the same area as Torre Bermeja and is being built by the developers Alanda Homes.
