In Riviera Del Sol, just between Fuengirola and Marbella, placards saying “Velásquez Are Not Paying Up” can be seen outside of an the almost-finished development Eden Gold Riviera. The construction company, “Velásquez Int S.A.”, are refusing to pay their workers and seemingly have a €4 million debt to clear. The development itself is close to being complete and all the properties have already been sold.
