According to the Land registry of San Roque, Alleerton Holdings developed 2 urbanisations at La Alcaidesa, La Villa and Sea Golf Regency (Regencia Alcaidesa Playa), and owned a third plot of land which was finally sold to another developer, building Mirador de La Alcaidesa.
Many of the properties have been sold but not completed and the Court has ordered the unsold assets to be frozen and may also be investigating property purchasers to establish links between the buyers and the directors of the above companies, both currently in prison pending trial.
It has also been established that local politicians linked with the GIL political party and family members of the major of La Linea, Juan Carlos Juarez Arriola bought properties at Sea Golf, although this situation does not seem to happen with La Villa and Sea Gold Regency.
Property purchasers who have bought at any of the two developments but have not completed will have to seek legal advice and request from the Court clarification on the current legal situation of the units.
